MAR. 26 -- Over the weekend, seven Mount Pisgah wrestlers traveled to either Virginia (Boys) or Oklahoma (Girls) to compete in the National Wrestling Championships. For the first time in school history, wrestlers from Mount Pisgah competed for three days in these events against the best wrestlers in the nation.
Freshman Cam Johnson had a great showing at Virginia and was only a few wins away from placing. The girls had an amazing showing with both freshman Catherine Grace Bertrand and sixth-grader Lindsey Noble placing and earning All-American honors - a first in school history. Junior Noah Swift, freshmen David Bertrand and Josh Noble, and seventh-grader Joey Bertrand also competed. The coaching staff was proud of everyone's efforts for representing Mount Pisgah in such a great event!
